An Open Letter To Steve Martin

November 24, 2011 2 comments

About two months ago I think, I noticed an apartment being emptied out nearby. I noticed all kinds of stuff being taken to a truck of some sort meant for hauling away trash. The workers were apparently getting rid of stuff the owner no longer wanted. I noticed that many vinyls were about to be thrown out in a crude wooden box where they were shelved in. Besides some a little junky stuff, I took that collection as the owner watched me take them away. I told her I would have paid her if I had the money, and she said nothing as I walked away with the treasure. Later, I think she may have died, or moved out and her apartment was being cleaned and emptied. A little while later I went back to the door to see what was sitting there, and saw that there were many more vinyls and I took them back to my home. A long while after I finally breathed in a lot of dust sorting through them, trying to find out their values and eventually got a record player to listen to them. And eventually I found one record that seemed the most interesting, an album called Tartans and Sagebrushes by Marie Rhines. I didn’t expect it to be anything amazing, but did read that it was fiddle music. It was described as being unique, so I thought it might sound displeasing and strange. I knew I liked at least some, because I had heard some songs I can’t remember from long ago in my search for good Irish music, and then much more recently heard your album The Crow, which I loved, and reminded me of traditional fiddle music. I looked for more info about her and found she had a website that was down at the time, but archive.org had saved some of her pages, but was missing some pictures. I also found some low res Youtube videos with her in it, but they seemed to marginalize her, or maybe bit seemed that way because they looked so poor. I thought it strange that for someone who made such beautiful music that her music wasn’t being shared and that she wasn’t popular. A little while before or after I found those videos I found that she had an album for sale on Amazon called The Reconciliation and upon hearing the music found it was beautiful.

The next morning, this morning, I decided to test out the somewhat used and cheap vinyl player I got the day before, which I found when first using it was misdescribed by Ion and the seller from whom I bought it. That’s all I’ll say about that for now. After first listening to a very rare organ music record on it, I then listened to T&S, and it immediately brought a smile to my face. Her music was sweet and flawless and not strange at all. After listening I looked up the organ music record again to see if there was anything about it, but still nothing. Then looked up Miss Rhines again, and tried out her site again, and it was working this time. That let me know she was still in action. I’m hoping that you’ll find her music as pleasing as I did enough to do an album with her and keep her from being overlooked any longer. How about this for an album title? Martin and Rhines: The Fiddle and Old Banjo. I hope to hear some Christmas songs from you all too.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Daniel

An Angry Jew Wants Christians to Protest Against Muslims Because ”Jesus was a Jew”

November 17, 2011 Leave a comment

This is my response to the Jewish female Linda Rivera of New York who on 11.17.11 in response to the article Jew-haters welcome in EU. She said the various things I’ve bolded here in the order she wrote them, in which she either is not aware of Christians always being vilified for being murderers of Arabs and Muslims and Muslims wishing to enslave or murder them, or because she’s not satisfied with even that, and wants to murder Christians herself for not doing more to get themselves all murdered by Muslims (there’s just no pleasing some people, and they’ll damn you no matter what you do):

“In hating Jews, they hate Jesus because Jesus was a JEW.”

Who are you talking to? Are you accusing yourself in the mirror?

“Jesus kept Saturday Sabbath, Passover, and all of the holy days.”

Are you one of those stupid people that thinks “Jew” means “religion” “judaism”? So you’re a racist who doesn’t believe that Jews exist, they’re just “a religious group.” You’re that dumb? So Jewish atheists agnostics in Israel and elsewhere are a non-people then. Racist. It’s stupid ignorance like Jews from you which is why Jews have such a low standing in the world. If you don’t even know how to define yourselves, I’m talking about Jews in general, how then is anyone else supposed to understand you or care when you speak?

“Jesus taught from the Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament) in synagogues and in the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.”

And with his words created the New Testament and preached to the world, not just Jews, and THE JEWS REJECTED HIM with the exception of a small few and the apostle Paul as well as the prophets before him said that Israel’s heart would remain hardened against God till the end of the last days. The Old Testament from which Jesus preached also shows that 99 percent of all Jews rejected God. You’re taking God’s word out of context, and it’s absolutely truly extremely disgustingly stupid that you gloss over the entire history of the Old Testament and turn it into, “Jews are good and not to be disliked.”

“When the Jew haters got control of the church,”

You sound like a Palestinian, a Muslim. “The Bible has been corrupted, you can’t trust it.” “Christians take the Bible out of context which is why they won’t accept the prophet Muhammed.” You hate Arabs and Muslims and foreigners and use the same arguments they use while pretending not to be a bigot! Talk about “wicked.”

“they got rid of all of the JEWISH things that Jesus the Jew did.” No, Paul said, “Let no one judge you with regard to holy days.” Christians in general chose not to spend their time observing holy days and chose to switch from Saturday to Sunday to distinguish themselves from the Jews, and there is evidence it’s also because God moved the day over, possibly for the same reason, and no doubt as a thorn to bother the Jews so that they’d have yet another evil and silly excuse to reject the Messiah.

“If Jesus had been born in our time period, from the time his mother carried Jesus in her womb, Jesus, his mother and family would be targeted for MURDER by the Islamics for being JEWS living in their JEWISH homeland.”

First you libel and defame Christians, then all the sudden switch to Muslims. How many logical fallacies are you going to commit? You sound like a liberal, aka, a pleasure-addicted idiot. “Muslims hate Jews therefore Christians are evil.” Are you retarded? “Christians don’t sacrifice animals like the Jews are commanded too and which the Jews do every day for their sins therefore Muslims hate Jesus.” Confused much? So when is the last time you sacrificed an animal, miss true Christian? Because, don’t you know, Jesus did it, therefore so should we. Why don’t you go look up the logical fallacy lists that atheists are always copying and pasting but never read? Wait… are you an atheist?

“In the filthy Islamic invasion of the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, Judea, Israel, Muslims TORE UP BIBLES FOR TOILET PAPER.”

Therefore Christians should yell down Muslims and tear them up and wipe Palestine off the face of the earth so that Jews won’t feel so guilty about mistreating them all the time. That’s a Catholic shrine by the way, please stop pretending all Christians are part of that giant cult. But since you do, or that ignorant about Christians, it’s obvious that you could care less about Christianity or religion. What you want is revenge so that you can feel good when you ignore God every day and not have to think, “God is punishing me with these thorns he’s left in Israel to remind me of my disobedience.”

“Where are the protests from these so-called Christians? Disgusting hypocrites.”

Jesus whom you declare to be good and holy already told you and often via the mouths of these disgusting hypocrites when they protested against the evil Catholic cult that persecuted Jews, Miss “Jesus was a Jew who endorsed the Law and the Prophets therefore Christians should obey him”. I shall repeat what the Son of Solomon said to you, again, and hopefully you won’t close your heart and ears again:

“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evi because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets. But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Don’t judge: and you will not be judged. Don’t condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’ For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!” Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’” Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. “Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. Finally, the woman died. Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?” Jesus replied, “You are in error because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching. Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Whose Son Is the Messiah? While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied. He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, ‘The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.’ If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.”

New Age Ghost ”Facts” and Psychics Refuted

November 17, 2011 Leave a comment

I’m listening to Annie Wilder on Coast to Coast AM right now, making annoying girly sounds as she speaks, as if trying to sexually seduce her audience, either than or she has a bad habit of saying “um” and “uh”. I have questions for you Annie:

Hi Annie, you said on Coast to Coast AM / implied that ghosts must exist because Custer appeared asked for troops. Can you explain how that is evidence? Here is where you logic fails:

1) Were troops all Custer cared about? Obviously not:

1. food
2. drink
3. clothing
4. peace
5. happiness
6. love
7. escape

How many people who die of murder come back to let someone know they died by murder? Under 1 percent, yet people are being murdered violently all the time. Further, many who die violent deaths don’t even mention it. Did the Custer ghost mention it? So, why does it make sense to you then that Custer mentioned he wanted more troops? So what? So what if he asked for someone to clean his uniform, would that also make sense to you? Why not: he has a uniform and it needed to be cleaned. Or if he asked for food, wouldn’t that make sense, because he’s a human who needed to eat. You’re logic is arbitrary.

2) You’re contradicting yourself: which is it, is it impressions of energy or is it living souls? You’re not saying why which is which, but conveniently mashing them both together without thought

3) Why wouldn’t intense sexual activity leave behind energy imprints, or joyous moments? Why not moments of extreme fright like on a roller coaster? Shouldn’t there be a huge amount of ghostly energy imprints all over Disney Land, Busch Gardens and Magic Kingdom? What do violent deaths have to do with energy imprints? When you die you die, it doesn’t matter how violent a person is TO YOU, that’s just a silly idea with no evidence. Since when does violence = leaving energy imprints. Using that logic there should be ghost clones of people who haven’t even died yet left behind by violent acts, especially if the person survives the act, because they worked themselves up into a large amount of fear or anger rather than simply dying right away.

4) Why would an energy imprint ASK for anything? Does Kirlian residual energy every ask anyone for anything? Does residual heat left behind by your body ask for anything? Where do you get this idea that “energy imprints” have the ability to ask for things let alone hang around for decades? Do you know what “New Age nonsense” is? You’re someone who tries be a scientist, and logical, but you fail because you haven’t actually studied logic, and if you have, you’re a truth-rejector and truth-hider.

—————-

Besides that, I noticed Annie say that she leaves in a haunted house, and that she’s had bad experiences there (because of the ghosts), but she’s comfortable living there, comfortable living with demons. She said, “Ut’s a very energetically cool house.” Can anyone say “New Age babble?” and “word salad”? Sickening.

US Ambassador presses China on

forced-abortion opponent

Ambassador Gary Locke urges China to release blind lawyer-activist Chen Guangcheng.

TAISHAN, China – US Ambassador Gary Locke is quietly pressuring the Chinese government on a high-profile human-rights case, acknowledging he had lodged a complaint over the extralegal home detention of blind lawyer Chen Guangcheng.

“We are very concerned about his treatment and, for instance, the reports his daughter was not allowed to go to school. Although he’s been freed, he is still under severe restrictions on his movements,” Locke told GlobalPost in a private interview Friday. He said the Chinese government has not yet responded to the letter he sent in September.

Chen was released last year after more than four years in prison but remains under house arrest, without charge, and has reportedly suffered beatings in captivity.

Since Locke sent the letter, Chen’s 6-year-old daughter has been allowed to leave her home to attend school, under guard.

The ambassador, who arrived in Beijing in August, added his voice to the chorus calling for China to ease its extreme treatment of the self-taught lawyer, who is known for exposing forced abortions in his hometown in Shandong province.

Chen has become a galvanizing figure for those concerned with human rights and with the growing clampdown on free expression in China. Dozens of activists, journalists and diplomats have tried to visit Chen in recent months. They have been chased away, beaten and robbed by gangs of thugs who stand 24-hour guard around Dongshigu village.

Still, the visits and support continue, with many referring to it as “adventure tourism” in Shandong.

In recent weeks, thousands of users of Sina Weibo, China’s micro-blogging service, have changed their photo icons to pictures of themselves wearing sunglasses in solidarity with the blind lawyer, who wears dark glasses. This week, iconic artist and government critic Ai Weiwei posted a photo of himself in shades to support Chen. Earlier this year, Ai himself was arrested and disappeared for three months over what he says is a fraudulent tax bill.

Chen, who turns 40 in the next few days, is a self-taught lawyer who ran afoul of authorities in Linyi, in Eastern China’s Shandong province, for exposing forced abortions of local women targeted by local officials under China’s one-child policy. After multiple run-ins with the law over his human-rights work, he was sentenced to prison for “damaging property and organizing a mob to disturb traffic.”

Since his release in 2010 Chen has been unable to leave his village or even his home. Last year, he and his wife managed to smuggle out a video detailing their lives in their home prison. After the video aired worldwide, Chen was reportedly beaten repeatedly. – More here

As for Biblical prophecy, besides this being more evidence of the last days, it also seems to imply that Asian countries, or certain ones, will be ruled by monarchies sometime in the future. This will be more likely to happen if enough Chinese citizens become wealthy enough, wealthy enough to afford guns, including sniper rifles, or grenade launchers. Once they can do that, they can overthrow their oppressive government, and China can then split up into various kingdoms:

Trainee Workers at Issue in China

From the Wall Street Journal:

Recent strikes in China are highlighting a technique widely used by foreign companies to keep costs down: hiring large numbers of “trainee” workers who can be paid less than the legal .

The practice, while legal, has been a source of complaint for at least some workers during recent strikes, and experts say foreign companies may have to refrain from overly relying on it.

For companies operating in China, “the whole labor-unrest saga should lead to a rethinking of labor relations,” said Andreas Lauffs, head of law firm Baker & McKenzie’s employment-law group in Hong Kong.

As China’s become more aware of their legal rights, they are starting to question some employment practices, such as excessive overtime and the wide use of trainees on the factory floor.

Riot Erupts in Southwest China Town
Thousands rioted in Guizhou’s Qianxi County on Thursday, apparently incensed by an altercation with or “urban administration officials”. From Reuters:

The protest in Qianxi County, province, was the latest of thousands of brief, local and demonstrations that happen in China every year, and like many recent outbreaks this one pitted residents against “urban administration” officials charged with enforcing law and order.

A “clash broke out between urban administration officials and the owner of an illegally parked vehicle, drawing in thousands of onlookers and sparking incidents of crowds smashing law enforcement vehicles and blocking roads,” the website of China National Radio (cds.cnr.cn) reported on Friday.

“Crowds turned over the vehicle of the urban administration staff and attacked police who came to quiet down the situation,” the official Xinhua news agency reported.

The rioters smashed ten vehicles and torched another five, said Xinhua, adding that 10 police officers and guards were injured. The police arrested 10 people suspected of attacking the vehicles.

Unrest also broke out last month in the nearby city of Anshun after chengguan allegedly killed a fruit seller and single father, Deng Qiguo. Soon after, a journalist was beaten by local police after travelling to Anshun to investigate the story.

Strikes & Protests Surge in China

The Los Angeles Times’ Barbara Demick examines the continuing rise of “mass incidents” as a means to address specific grievances such as pollution and land seizures.

These demonstrators have a narrow agenda and concrete demands: Farmers want a stop to confiscations of their land or to get better compensation for lost property. Homeowners want to stop demolitions. People want cleaner air and water and safer food. Truckers and taxi drivers want relief from soaring fuel prices ….

The number of reported “mass incidents” rose from 8,700 in 1993 to more than 90,000 in 2006, according to the Chinese Police Academy. A professor at Tsinghua University, , has told Chinese reporters he believes the figure last year was up to 180,000 ….

In China, it is impossible to go to court to get a temporary restraining order if, for example, a factory is spewing harmful sustances into the water supply or somebody starts building on your land. Petitioning, an archaic practice dating to imperial times, requires the aggrieved to travel to Beijing and wait for months, if not years.

Rioting gets results. Quickly.

A new China Labour Bulletin report, meanwhile, focuses on the growing number of strikes and other labour protests, as young migrant workers become increasingly assertive in demanding wage increases. From Reuters:

Although migrant workers have often won pay rises in recent years, they feel poorly served by China’s official, Communist Party-run trade union, which has often sided with management in factory disputes, the China Labour Bulletin said in the report.

Instead, and labor have spread through informal channels, with workers often using mobile phones and Internet message sites to coordinate, it added.

“They are giving each other in real time updates of their protests, and this has allowed workers’ rights groups, lawyers interested in workers’ rights, to offer advice, help them push their demands,” said Crothall, the Labour Bulletin spokesman, speaking of these digital tools.

The China Labour Bulletin report estimates that in 2009 China experienced about 30,000 collective labor protests, and adds there is “certainly no reason to suspect that the number of strikes is decreasing.”

Noory Ain’t Interested In Solvin’ Nothin’

November 11, 2011 7 comments

George Noory, makin’ money off the dead

George Noory boasted that his goal, is, “to solve the mysteries of our time.” I don’t think so. Tonight (11/10/2011) and this morning, this evil moron is once again indulging his hankering for time travel babble. He is letting an idiot waste the world’s time with disgustingly stupid childish lies about time travel with Barrack Obama. Stupid. So stupid. But, George is getting paid, and perhaps the time travelling liar is too, so what do they care? And did anyone hear how this Andrew D. Basiago’s explanation as to why children were used and that absurd holographic nonsense? Or how about how he and his team had to avoid “the predators on Mars”… AT AGE FOUR. OR IS IT AGE FIVE? Oh wait, he was repairing tv’s at age for and it’ was at age 19 that he was sent up to Mars, I see now. Did you know he was even given a suicide pill in case he was cornered by the predators, but, NOT  A GUN? Not an adrenaline shot? Not a grenade? How stupid!!! I wonder if Andrew is a skeptic who later plans on exposing George as a gullible moron. Update: Major Ed Dames (another delusional liar) was called by George during the show, because Andrew claimed the Ed was his teacher for the Mars colonization project, or um, was it the time travel one. But so George asked, and Ed said that Andrew was delusional and to stop emailing him and to go start a cult or something, oh but Ed said he did distinctly remember seeing ELVIS, yes ELVIS and Lady Gaga at his um, ok I missed that part but if he saw them both together there must have been some time travel thing going on. So this is what George Noory the Universalist Catholic wants us all to spend our time listening to. Awesomely dumb crazy people who get to plug their stupid websites or books to millions of people, and drain these gullible idiots of their money. So this is George’s concern for the poor and the economy and this is his way of making people smile. Sick.

But about yesterday night, (11/09/2011). So I’m listening to radio show host George Noory taking a call from a beautiful-voiced woman named Michelle telling her story about how someone unknown recorded a video using her cellphone of some being looking at her and her kids and hieroglyphics appearing on the video… does he ask her to send the video in or to upload it to YouTube and give the address? Nope, he instead lets the idiot guest comment on it who says, it may have to do with her past life and possibly menstruation and that she should have the video analyzed. I am so tempted to cuss these guys out. I wish I could throw something hard at their heads. George claims his mission in life is “to solve the mysteries” of our time, but how is he solving it when he repeatedly doesn’t bother investigating interesting stories like that hieroglyphics one with a supposed video, tangible evidence? And he always shows a flippant interest in such stories. Remember that time he said he was on vacation and in a taxi and the driver seemed so nervous that he feared he was about to be kidnapped, so left? Maybe there was a plot by Mexican drug lords who hated his show so much they were plotting to do the world a favor by getting rid of his ass. Why does he show more interest in things that can’t be verified, like the John Titor time travel (hoax)? Why is that more interesting to him? It reminds me of this time on his show he was asking some guest, I think George Tsoukalous, if he’d like to know everything, to know enough so there’d no longer be any mysteries, and George gave his opinion that he wouldn’t want that because then he’d be bored. Perhaps because of that insane attitude he doesn’t bother to follow any leads, but is content to let others do that and only have them on once and a while. Perhaps that’s why he’s content to sit and speculate wildly rather than use his own wealth to go to some mystery site and do a video/radio show. That’s what being “positive” and “open minded” gets you: laziness, chaos and insanity. My throat is sore over how sickening George is, and it’s very rare my throat gets sore.

Gavin Menzies Discovers Ancient Evidence for Historical Accuracy of Genesis

November 4, 2011 Leave a comment

(This cover is only on the UK version)

Gavin Menzies, former submarine Captain in the British Navy, the author of the famous book 1421: The Year China Discovered America, wrote a book called The Lost Empire of Atlantis: History’s Greatest Mystery Revealed which goes through his findings concerning the Minoans (who supposedly later became the Greeks) and how the island called Thera aka Santorini was Atlantis. This is wrong however since not all the evidence matches up, and Atlantis was already rediscovered a long time ago with all the evidence to match. But whether he is right or wrong, what he discovered, perhaps without knowing it, was more evidence that the Bible’s indirect teaching that mankind became very advanced at least after hundreds of years after God created them. He discovered that the Minoans, about 4000 years ago, had built up a very advanced naval fleet which traveled all over the world, and that these Minoans were skilled at metalworking and had very advanced mathematics, though perhaps no where near as advanced as we are today in math. Like so called “out of place artifacts”, like the ones detailed in the book Forbidden Archeology (which so that you know contains a baseless story concerning some coal mine and things discovered inside the coal) and gone into in depth with pictures on s8int.com, the Minoan level of math and science can also be classified as “out of place” in the Big Bang-Darwinian Evolution chronology (which is because the BBDEC is false). And the Minoan technology itself also qualify as OOPARTS, just like the most obvious OOPARTS of all, the pyramids all over the world, which God uses as clear testimony to the trustworthiness of Genesis.

The Lost Empire of Atlantis is introduced by Gavin with this paragraph:

After a chance conversation in Egypt in 2008, bestselling historian Gavin Menzies launched himself on a quest that would reveal the truth behind the mystery of Atlantis and her destruction. Through an examination of documentary and academic research, metallurgy, ancient shipbuilding and navigation techniques, artefacts and DNA evidence, Menzies slowly and painstakingly reveals a trading empire that spanned from the Great Lakes in North America to Kerala in India. And in doing so finally explains the incredible reality behind the legendary civilisation described by Plato and its disappearance. Reading like a real-life Indiana Jones story as ex-Royal Navy submarine captain, Menzies travels round the world in pursuit of his goal, this is epic, iconoclastic popular history.
